UK Seeks Next-Gen AEW System for Carrier Strike Group

Published 9 April 2025: The UK Ministry of Defence has issued an RFI seeking airborne early warning (AEW) solutions for deployment from Queen Elizabeth-class aircraft carriers. The system must offer persistent 24-hour surveillance and detect modern air and surface threats, including anti-ship missiles and strike aircraft. The RFI aims to assess industry capabilities and welcomes all proposed concepts. Responses are due by 17:00 on 6 May 2025
